• Former AOA Member ChoA Makes Headlines as She Shares Plans for Egg Freezing Procedure

Former AOA member ChoA has recently become the talk of the town among netizens after announcing her decision to undergo egg freezing procedure.

On February 17, 2023, she uploaded a video titled "Confessions in My Tipsiness. Stories I haven't shared… Yet," on her YouTube channel.

Starting with a mukbang video featuring tteokbokki, ChoA opened up about her hiatus from the music industry, saying, "I think I spent two years without any motivation. I was like a patient, living like a night owl for three years. Eventually, I started my YouTube channel, and I was grateful for the support I received after my comeback. But I feel like I'm lacking the same passion I used to have as a singer, and I need to work hard to regain it."

ChoA also shared her thoughts on aging, saying, "As adults, we gradually lose our energy and passion. After my comeback, I felt unmotivated for about two years. I was asked what my dream was for my 40s when I appeared on a variety show, but I had never thought about it before. I realized that could be my problem."

Regarding marriage, ChoA said, "I'm not against marriage, and I don't mind having children. However, I'm not confident that I can handle marriage, raising a child, and work altogether. After taking a three-year break, I feel like I need to start working again, and that's why I mentioned egg freezing procedure."

ChoA revealed that she has been contemplating egg freezing procedure because she feels that it would provide her with more options in terms of having a child.

"With egg freezing procedure, I don't have to worry about social time constraints due to biological limits. I can get married whenever I want, but having a child is only possible when it's biologically feasible," she said.

ChoA's honesty and candidness in sharing her thoughts on her personal and professional life have sparked discussions among netizens.

Many have expressed their support and admiration for her decision to undergo egg freezing procedure and for being open about her struggles.

  • Taeyeon's Japan concert officially canceled and fans are heartbroken, says: "feels like the show was stolen" Here's Why

Taeyeon’s Tokyo concert has sadly been canceled for good, and both she and her fans are feeling emotional.

On April 29, SM Entertainment shared an official statement confirming that 'Taeyeon Concert – The ODD of LOVE in Japan' will not be happening anymore. The show was originally scheduled for April 19–20 at Ariake Arena in Tokyo.

SM stated, “After the concert was postponed, we did our best to find another venue that could hold the same number of fans and still offer the best performance. But we couldn’t secure a proper venue, so we’ve decided to cancel the concert.”

They also added, “We’re really sorry to all the fans who waited patiently. We checked every possible way to make it happen, but in the end, we had no choice but to make this difficult decision. Thank you for your understanding.”

As for those who already bought tickets, SM said, “You’ll get a full refund. Please check the My Page section or your ticket email on April 30 for more info.”

Taeyeon was supposed to hold her concert in Tokyo as part of her Asia tour. But earlier this month, the concert had to be canceled last-minute due to equipment delays.

After hearing the news, Taeyeon shared her thoughts through her fan communication platform. She said, “When the news about the canceled concert came out, I was really worried about SONE. I didn’t even know what to say.”

She added, “It felt like a concert that everyone worked hard on and looked forward to just disappeared. Like it was stolen from us. I don’t even know how to explain how empty and helpless I feel.”

Fans have been showing their support, saying they’ll continue to wait for her return to Japan.
