• Actress Park So Dam Claps Back At Her Hater On Instagram With A Blunt Message

Even though the Lunar New Year weekend would have been a great time to feel good about the start of 2023, one hater decided to send some alarming messages to actress Park So Dam.

On January 22, Seollal, the lead actress of "Record of Youth" shared a series of direct messages she got from an unknown hater on Instagram.

The hater said some horrible things in the direct message about the actress's fight against thyroid cancer, which forced her to take a long break after surgery in December 2021.

A message from a hater sent on Sunday at 10:48 pm says "I wish the cancer had gotten worse. Should've died. You're ugly and shouldn't be an actress. Tsk tsk ".

Even though the most recent message came from Seollal, the hater had been sending Park So Dam messages before. Their earlier messages, from September 2020, also said bad things about the actress.

Another message from the hater, dated September 19, 2020, says "Even though I like [blurred], I don't watch the show because of you, you ugly b*tch. Haha. Your face is really terrible. With that face, I can't believe you're the main character. Do the right thing. LMAO. You'd rather deal with the hatred, huh? Since [blurred] is the main character, right? Having a good time? HAHA. What a great time to live!"

Another message from the same sender, received on September 30, 2020, says "You're too ugly to be the main female character. LOL. But I get it, co-starring with [blurred] would’ve made me greedy, too. Haha. You must think Parasite gave you the s***. But keep in mind that the Internet doesn't like you. Get yourself together. Even the show's biggest fans have given up on it. Pffft".

Even though Park So Dam blurred out some of the details of the messages, fans could still tell that the hater was talking about "Record of Youth" and Park Bo Gum.

The actress replied in a nice way, but she said she would keep the messages in case she had to go to court.

Park So Dam responded, and he said "Hello, and thanks for visiting my Instagram account in the new year. I'll keep working harder to get the word out. But I'll keep these messages! Have a great start to the new year! By the way, I'd like to live a long and healthy life."

After Park So Dam's post, fans of the actress and K-drama fans in general were shocked and upset by what the hater said.

Fans are sending Park So Dam good vibes and congratulating her on her long-awaited return to the big screen with her latest K-Movie, "Phantom".

"I wish she wouldn't read her DMs and would just ignore them… I feel like celebrities in general should not have DMs open. Stars act like everything is fine, but they get hurt this way all the time".

"It's clear that this person has lost their mind because they are too jealous for their own good. I hope she takes them to court."

    "Why are people so bad?"

"Isn't she beautiful?" She looks as sweet as a baby. Anyway, this is really annoying. I hope that hater gets hit hard by karma!"

"This isn't really about the DMs… But I want to say that Park So Dam has a very clear face. She really does look like a fairy. I was completely surprised to see her at an awards show."

"Why…? Why do people say such nonsense?"

"Just go to court with them, So Dam."
