This is what she did.
Shin Seul Ki from Single’s Inferno comes from one of South Korea’s wealthiest families.
Her father is one of the best plastic surgeons in the country and owns a 20-story building in the Sinsadong neighborhood of Seoul.
It’s easy to take things for granted when your family life is so good. But Seul Ki did what she could to not depend too much on her family for money.
Even when she was young, they helped her follow her dream of becoming a pianist.
She learned to play the piano when she was 10 and went to the best art schools when she was growing up.
Seul Ki started making her own money once she was sure she would get into college.
It was said that she never got lower than second place in any competition she entered. This gave her the nickname “Con-Seul Ki,” which is a play on the word “concourse.”
She worked as a page-turner, a wedding and church pianist, and more to make money on top of what she won.
During the COVID-19 era, she also gave away 20,000 masks that she bought with the money she made.
What a lovely person on the inside and out!
