BLACKPINK Is Reportedly Leaving YG Entertainment To Join THE BLACK LABEL

They are going to switch agencies.

BLACKPINK is rumored to be choosing to leave YG Entertainment for THE BLACK LABEL, which is a label owned by the same company.

KpopHerald, a section of The Korea Herald that covers K-pop, says that BLACKPINK will leave YG Entertainment and change their management label to THE BLACK LABEL, which is a subsidiary of YG Entertainment.

An official from YG Entertainment told KpopHerald that they can’t verify the news, but the BLACKPINK members still have time on their contracts.

“I can’t confirm the news, but I can say that our contracts with the members haven’t ended yet. It’s hard to say for sure if they will sign with The Black Label when their contracts are up or not.” — YG Entertainment

Taeyang had also left YG Entertainment to join THE BLACK LABEL in the past.
