  • BTS’s Jimin Makes History Again as "Who" Earns Gold Certification in Spain —First K-Pop Soloist to Achieve This TWICE

BTS’s Jimin is unstoppable! His song Who has officially earned a Gold certification in Spain, making him the first and only K-pop solo artist to achieve this milestone twice.

On February 12, Spain’s PROMUSICAE, a member of the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry (IFPI), awarded Who the prestigious Oro (Gold) certification. To receive this honor, a song must sell 30,000 units, including streaming equivalents.

Jimin previously earned his first Gold certification in Spain with Like Crazy in July 2024. Now, with Who also achieving Gold status, he has cemented his place as a true global superstar, proving his incredible popularity not just in Korea but all around the world.

His impact in Spain has been undeniable! Who made history by ranking No. 96 on Apple Music’s Top 100: Spain year-end chart, becoming the first and only song by an Asian artist to enter the list.

This marks the first time a K-pop song has ever appeared on Spain’s annual Apple Music chart.

The song’s performance on Spotify Spain has also been nothing short of legendary. Who has stayed on the Spotify Spain Weekly Top Songs chart for 30 consecutive weeks, making it the longest-charting K-pop solo song in the country.

It has also remained on the Daily Top Songs chart for an incredible 203 days, continuously extending its record.

Jimin’s influence in Spain continues to grow, and fans can’t wait to see what record he breaks next.
