• IVE's Jang Wonyoung Has Been the Target of Unfounded Plastic Surgery Rumors, but the Fans Has Come to Her Defense

What does it matter if she had plastic surgery?

Internet users defended Jang Wonyoung of IVE against erroneous claims that the star had had extensive plastic surgery.

Unquestionably, Wonyoung is one of K-Pop's biggest performers right now.

Jang Wonyoung has occupied the industry's center position ever since she made her debut with IZ*ONE, and the success of her group IVE has only served to reinforce that position.

However, it frequently happens that an idol will also acquire a lot of hate.

In the instance of Jang Wonyoung, numerous envious internet users could not accept that the idol's appearance was natural and frequently accused her of undergoing plastic surgery.

One internet user had had enough with these untrue rumors.

A post from an online forum went viral on December 21.

The author of the piece stated that Jang Wonyoung's facial features have remained largely unchanged since the idol's debut by going through each one in detail.

Internet users largely supported the author's position and defended the idol against claims that she had undergone plastic surgery.

Additionally, online commenters suggested that the idol shouldn't be condemned for having surgery even if she did.

    Netizens then commented:

Even if she simply had her eyes done, suppose she had more plastic surgery… Wonyoung's (natural) sights made her a YouTube sensation by the age of 15. Does it matter if she underwent plastic surgery? By claiming that a kid undergone complicated surgeries, people look nuts.

You cannot claim that Wonyoung did anything else besides make her eyes. She had this appearance since middle school.

She continues to seem exactly as she did when she was with IZ*ONE.

She recently shed her baby weight, modified her makeup look, and developed double eyelid lines. She doesn't appear to have accomplished anything else. LOL.

Who cares whether she had plastic surgery, even if she did? LOL. Nowadays, everyone has their lips, nose, and eyes altered. Why don't these haters address them directly?

Since she is a celebrity, "most people clearly understand she only had her eyes done and takes good care of her skin. The only people who are actually bothering her are those on Pann. LOL.”

On April 15, the VIP premiere of the film Yadang took place at Megabox COEX in Samseong-dong, Seoul, and it quickly turned into a Poksak reunion.

The event was already buzzing with big names like Uhm Tae Woong (who made his first appearance in 8 years), Lee Min Ho, Ha Ji Won, Lee Joo Young, Hyeri, Lee Yu Bi, Kim Sung Kyun, and even Single’s Inferno 4's Lee Si An.

But the surprise appearance of severalWhen Life Gives You Tangerines cast members made fans super emotional.

IU, who played Gwansik’s daughter Geum Myeong in the Netflix series, was spotted quietly entering the theater wearing a mask. A fan who noticed her shared a photo, writing, “Poksak daughter Geum Myeong is here!”

Kim Seon Ho also showed up and quickly got attention. Fans recognized him despite the mask and commented, “Chung Seop is here too!” and “Park Hae Joon’s son-in-law came!” Kim Seon Ho made a special appearance in the series as Geum Myeong’s husband.
