Netizens Claim “Something Is Off” About NewJeans Official Mascot, and Their Reaction is Too Relatable

Since their debut a few months ago, K-Pop fans have been giving NewJeans a lot of praise and admiration for their cute looks, trendy clothes, likeable personalities, and, of course, great music.

Their members are all between 14 and 18 years old, which makes them very appealing to teenage K-Pop fans, especially with their hugely popular Y2K trends and young-sounding music.

With so many cute and bubbly parts to their music and career, you’d think that fans of NewJeans would have a hard time finding something to worry about. But, according to a recent post on Reddit, this isn’t quite the case!

The group’s first album, NewJeans, had a bunny character that has become a part of their brand. Recently, “Bunnies” was chosen as the fan name for the group.

Even more recent ads for the group still show bunnies, so it doesn’t look like this will change any time soon.

According to the comments on the Reddit post titled “Is anyone else disturbed by the NewJeans bunny?,” however, there are many fans who can’t shake the feeling that there’s something wrong with the rabbit.

Several people replied to the post to say that they agreed with what the author said!

Fans can’t quite put their finger on what makes the bunny scary, but they all seem to agree on it.

There were a few people who didn’t agree and thought the mascot was cute… But that camp has far fewer comments!

How do you feel? Is the bunny that might set fires cute or scary?
