• The tattoo artist who did BTS's famous "7" tattoos talks about working with the group

In 2022, BTS's friendship tattoos were a major talking point.

Earlier this year, V answered a fan question on Weverse and revealed that the group was planning to get matching tattoos.

Suga and V are the only two members who haven't been showing off their "7" tattoos for the past few months. Every time a new one has been exposed, the internet has gone into a frenzy.

Polyc SJ is one of the best-known tattoo artists in South Korea, and he did beautiful tattoos.

He got a lot of attention when he said that he wouldn't make the legendary designs for anyone else because they were only for the members of BTS.

He also told what the "7" tattoos were really about. While the number "7" is unmistakable in its reference to the group's membership, each tattoo is unique while collectively spelling out "BTS."

He then showed a few specially made pins that were made for BTS. The pins put all of the tattoos together just to show the design, and he indicated that there were only seven.

Well, it looks like people are paying more attention to the artist. After Jungkook's tattoos got a lot of attention at the World Cup, Arirang News interviewed Polyc SJ in a way that no one else could.

Polyc SJ opened up about his time spent with the members during the interview. As expected, the artist only said nice things about the group's members.

Since he looked so at ease in the photo with the group's youngest member, Jungkook, it's not surprising that he only had good things to say about the group.

Even though his designs are beautiful, Polyc SJ said that tattoos still have a bad reputation, especially among older Koreans, and that this still bothers him.

Aside from BTS's tattoos, this same artist has made some amazing tattoos with brilliant designs and colors that really show off his skill.

He also puts his beautiful art on canvas so that people can look at it all the time.

Given his skill, it's not surprising that he's attempting to alter the way South Koreans feel about tattoos. Netizens love his work, and he is a part of BTS history because he has made art that has brought the members closer together.

Below, you can find out more about the tattoos.

  • BTS' Jin visits Andong to help wildfire victims, serves meals at Baek Jong Won’s relief center

BTS member Jin has touched hearts once again with his kind gesture to support those affected by wildfires.

On April 3, Jin visited Gilan Middle School in Gilan-myeon, Andong, to serve meals to disaster victims and firefighters. His actions brought much-needed comfort to the people in the area.

Gilan Middle School is where celebrity chef Baek Jong Won, a close friend of Jin, has been running a free meal service through his company, The Born Korea.

Since March 28, The Born Korea has been providing meals for the wildfire victims, preparing 300 to 700 servings each time to ensure that the affected people and firefighters receive warm food.

Jin quietly made his way to Andong, a region that suffered extensive damage from the wildfire, to lend a helping hand.

Big Hit Music, Jin’s agency, shared, “Jin wanted to provide even a small amount of help to those affected by the wildfires, which is why he decided to participate in this volunteer activity.”

This heartwarming gesture follows BTS's large donations for wildfire recovery efforts. Jungkook donated a whopping 1 billion KRW, while V gave 200 million KRW, and RM, J-Hope, and Suga each contributed 100 million KRW to aid in the recovery.
