“MAMA Awards” has a special place in BTS J-Hope’s heart than any other award show for this unexpected reason

This is something that only J-Hope can say about himself.

Shortly after giving an amazing main stage performance of songs from his first debut album Jack in the Box, BTS’s J-Hope left the 2022 MAMA Awards with such a bag full of awards for him as as a soloist and for BTS as a group.

Even though performing at and winning awards at the MAMAs is exciting and a big deal for every artist, J-Hope recently talked about why his time during this awards night is especially important to him.

J-Hope held a live broadcast after the show so he could talk to ARMY and answer a few of their questions.

He said, “Does everyone know MFMF? Since I’ve seen it since then, Mama is… Looking at the comments Haha, some people say they know MKMF!

What J-Hope is talking about is the MAMA Awards’ old name.

From 2004 to 2007, the show was called the MKMF (Mnet KM Music Video Festival, which soon changed to Mnet KM Music Festival).

J-Hope was between 10 and 13 years old at the time.

He then added, “Since I’ve been watching the MAMAs since I was young, they mean more to me. We really appreciate all the awards. We also won the “Platinum Award,” which made me think, “We won that much?” It was very important to me.

J-Hope grew up watching the show, which makes it even more special that he is now such a big part of it.
He got a lot of awards to add to his collection, and he gave a performance that everyone will remember for a long time.
