Red Velvet becomes hot topic because of their comebacks teaser image.
Yesterday, Red Velvet released an official teaser image of their upcoming mini album "The ReVe Festival 2022 - Birthday" on November 28. They also updated their social media accounts with new profile and cover pictures.
Based on the photo that was released, Red Velvet's design looks like a retro "rabbit". Some fans said that when they saw the design, it reminded them of NewJeans character, which was also in the shape of a "rabbit" and was known to represent the group.
When someone in an online community said that the two designs were similar, K-netizens and K-pop fans joined the conversation and argued about whether or not they were similar.
