• ONCE's Defend TWICE Over The Hate Comments Saying That They Flopped So Hard

TWICE has become a hot topic because of the hate comments they received recently.

On September 9, a critical post about TWICE began trending on enter-talk‘ community board under the title, “TWICE FAILED BY THIS MUCH?“.

The netizen who posted said, “Why is Twice having failed so miserably?“.

The netizen then added They flopped so badly that they were the first K-pop girl group to perform a three-day sold-out Dome tour in Japan."

The netizen finally said, "They are also the first girl group to perform two sold-out stadium shows in the United States in a row. They are definitely has-beens."

The netizen then listed all the hate comments as the following:

Nothing is more evident than their tour, which is why the entire group renewed.

Twice are dislikable because their fans have to hold other groups by the hair in order to commend their own group and make these comments the best comments. They are completely incapable of praising their own bias without dragging other groups along with them. They've been doing it for a long time.

Fans of those habitual lipsyncers are rushing in to bash them (T/N: because the title is a bait)

They are unrivaled in Japan, and I expected "they" to have a larger slice of the pie in the US, but Twice is also #1 in the US.

Twice is playing with the big people, so do you really think people bringing up Melon offends them? Queen-wice truly makes me proud.

Other netizens quickly shared their opinions regarding the post:

I'm not a fan of twice, but I don't think anyone can argue that they're not doing well given their years in the industry and fandom power.

TWICE has already established themselves and do not need to prove themselves to anyone. They're doing fantastic after being active for seven years, and I'm glad they all appear happy and content. I can't wait to see all of the group's solos and subunits. I'm most excited to see Misamo and Jihyo alone!

Also, based on what people have been saying about Twice, I checked their streams and charts, and they appear to be doing well. What is the point of it all?

I'm not sure why it's so difficult to admit that TWICE is one of the most successful groups…..They have made a significant impact on the KPOP industry and have broken numerous records. "They don't need to prove anything anymore," I say emphatically.

What are your thoughts on this?
