"The Law Cafe" Lee Seung Gi "It's my first KBS drama in 16 years, if it doesn't work, it's the director's fault"
Actor Lee Seung Gi expressed his feelings about returning to the KBS drama after 16 years.
At an online production presentation for KBS 2TV's new Monday-Tuesday drama "The Law Cafe" on September 5, Lee Seung Gi talked about how it felt to be in a KBS drama after a long time.
Lee Seung Gi will appear in a KBS drama after a long time since "The Famous Chil Sisters (2006)".
Lee Seung Gi said, "When a work is broadcast, ratings and other such things are left up to heaven. When I met the director for the first time, he told me, 'It's my fault if it doesn't work out, so don't feel pressured'".
He added, "So I didn't feel forced, but the acting was different. I'm having fun filming it. Yes. The set has a good vibe. This case either works really well or it doesn't, but I wish it worked well".
At the same time, about Kim Jung Ho's character, he said, "There are a lot of similarities. Why are there so many similarities when it's so natural? I talk directly and think realistically. If there is only one difference, I have no knowledge of the law. I don't know the social system, so it seems similar to that".
He also said, "I don't know how to combine entertainment and drama. I keep going like inertia. It's also fun to work".
