Actor Jung Woo-sung revealed that he kept a distance from his best friend Lee Jung-jae and started filming in order to immerse himself in the role of the movie ‘Hunt‘.
In the JTBC ‘Room Corner 1 Special Edition, Operation Hunt: Spoilers’ broadcast on August 18th, actors Lee Jung-jae, Jung Woo-sung, and Jeong Man-sik appeared to tell the story behind the movie ‘Hunt‘.
Lee Jung-jae and Jung Woo-sung are called ‘Cheongdam couple’ among fans and are known as representative close friends in the entertainment industry.
They recently appeared together in the movie ‘Hunt‘ and showed off their fantastic chemistry.
However, contrary to many people’s expectations, it is known that the two did not eat together at the filming site of ‘Hunt‘ and kept a distance.
On this day, Jung Woo-sung said, “It seemed like we had to maintain the tension and fierceness of Kim Jeong-do (Jung Woo-sung) and Park Pyeong-ho (Lee Jung-jae) while filming.
He continued, “When others see me, I’m like, ‘Are these two close friends?’ I tried to maintain the emotional lines of Kim Jeong-do and Park Pyeong-ho as much as I wanted to,”.
Jeong Man-sik said, “Many actors who appeared in ‘Hunt’ said they were very moved. There are many actors who dreamed of becoming movie stars after watching the movie ‘There is no sun. It was a little wet, saying that it was thrilling to be together.”
The movie ‘Hunt‘ is a spy action drama genre film that unfolds while confronting a huge incident called ‘Korea’s No. 1 Assassination Operation’ between Park Pyong-ho and Kim Jeong-do, who are suspicious of each other in order to find a hidden spy in the organization.
Lee Jung-jae took charge of the screenplay, directing, acting, and production, and received attention even before its release. It was also officially invited to the Midnight Screening at the 75th Cannes Film Festival.
In addition, ‘Hunt‘ is known as the first work in which Lee Jung-jae and Jung Woo-sung appear in the same movie since ‘There is No Sun’, which drew a lot of anticipation.
