  • "BTS’s Jin was scary at first?" -Actress Ji Ye Eun says she was afraid to get close but now they fight like real siblings

Actress Ji Ye Eun recently shared her honest thoughts about working with BTS's Jin and how their relationship grew during filming.

On April 29, a video titled “Actually, Ji Ye Eun doesn’t know how to curse—riding in one car with her” was uploaded on VIVO TV’s YouTube channel. In the video, Ji Ye Eun opened up about her experience filming the Netflix show Fishing Brothers: Season of Crazy Fun (Daehwanjang Gianjang).

She revealed that she got her boat license just for the show. “After trying it on the Han River, I felt confident about the driving part. It was actually easier than I thought. But the written test was so hard,” she said. “It’s completely different from driving a car, so it was confusing. I took the test so many times that the people at the test center started to recognize me and even wished me good luck. I went almost every two days,” she said, laughing.

Ji Ye Eun also shared how happy she was with the show’s success. “As of filming day, I heard the show was ranked third. I really care about that kind of thing. Since we all worked so hard, I hope more people watch and enjoy it.”

When asked by Song Eun I if she got close to castmates Gian 84 and Jin, she responded honestly. “Even though we didn’t spend a long time together, we went through a lot and got close. At first, I didn’t know how to talk to Jin oppa. He’s a world star, so I was nervous. I even worried I’d get hate comments for being near him. But once filming started, those worries disappeared,” she said.

Ji Ye Eun then made everyone laugh by adding, “Jin oppa and I became like real siblings. We argued a lot, and Gian 84 oppa had to stop us!”

Meanwhile, Ji Ye Eun is currently appearing on SBS’s Running Man, continuing to grow her popularity on variety shows.
