• The Character Reference Of Park Eun Bin's Role In "Extraordinary Attorney Woo" Has Been Revealed

The real model of lawyer Woo Young Woo (Park Eun Bin) with an autism spectrum in the drama 'Extraordinary Attorney Woo' has been revealed.

The Hankook Ilbo reported on July 24th that the production team of ENA's 'Extraordinary Attorney Woo' captured the character of Woo Young Woo in the drama by referring to the life of Temple Grandin, a professor at Colorado State University, USA, who grew up from an autistic child to a world-class zoologist.

Temple Grandin was diagnosed with autism when she was two years old.

The doctor said, "You will have to be in a shelter for the rest of your life, and it will be difficult to speak."

Temple Grandin put her talents to good use in animal research.

The humanitarian facilities she designed to alleviate the suffering of farm animals have been introduced on 60% of farms in North America.

Temple Grandin was selected as one of the '100 Most Influential People in the World' by Time Magazine in 2010 for these achievements.

Her life was made into movies and books in the United States, and in Korea, plays highlighting her life have been on the stage since 2019.

Temple Grandin, dressed as a cowboy in a cowboy outfit, took to the TED podium in February 2013 and gave a lecture on the subject of 'a world that requires all kinds of thinking'. Autistic thinking, focusing on the details that most people ignore, changes the world.”

In a phone call with the Hankook Ilbo, Kim Byung Gun, a professor of early childhood special education at Nazarene University, who advised 'Extraordinary Attorney Woo', said, "There are problems with empathy and communication, but we will focus on the high concentration, that is, the strengths of some people with autism spectrum disorders in certain fields. I wanted to break the stereotyped autistic person who lacks or only gets help by approaching them,”.

So, with writer Jiwon Moon, he made the character three-dimensional in such a way that Woo Young Woo revealed more of his autistic tendencies in his daily life and maximized his intelligence when he argued.

Meanwhile, 'Extraordinary Attorney Woo', which depicts the survival story of a new lawyer, Woo Young Woo, who has a genius brain and an autism spectrum at the same time, is broadcast every Wednesday and Thursday at 9 PM.
