• With “Extraordinary Attorney Woo” Kang Tae Oh Is Finally Getting The Limelight He Deserves

Kang Tae Oh, Park Eun Bin, and Kang Ki Young are all becoming more well-known due to "Extraordinary Attorney Woo's" immense popularity.

Kang Tae Oh, who was born in 1994, has been an actor for years but has struggled to gain recognition in Korea. After his appearance in the wildly popular K-drama "Extraordinary Attorney Woo," however, the situation has changed drastically.

According to Good Data, "Extraordinary Attorney Woo" is currently the most sought-after K-drama in Korea. In the previous week, 45.3% of K-drama viewers searched for this series, whereas "Alchemy of Souls" received only a fifth of this volume.

In addition, viewership ratings for "Extraordinary Attorney Woo" have skyrocketed from 0.9% to almost 10% in just 6 episodes, and Kang Tae Oh, who plays the series' male lead, has surpassed leading actress Park Eun Bin and case members Kang Ki Young as the most talked-about actor.

In "Extraordinary Attorney Woo," Kang Tae Oh plays the superior of Woo Young Woo, who is portrayed by actress Park Eun Bin.

Kang Tae Oh is the hottest actor of the moment due to his perfect looks and physique, as well as his incredible chemistry with his co-star. The actor's career appears to be on the rise, and he will likely have more opportunities in the future.

Kang Tae Oh debuted in Korea's first actor-idol group, 5urprise, under Fantagio Entertainment in September 2013.

The group consisted of five members: Yoo Il, Seo Kang Joon, Gong Myung, Kang Tae Oh, and Lee Tae Hwan, who were chosen by Fantagio's "Actor's League" program, which identifies aspiring actors, and trained for two years prior to their debut in the entertainment industry.

5urprise reversed the trend of other Korean groups who began as Kpop idols before entering the acting industry. Their first project was a 12-episode, 15-minute series entitled "After School: Lucky or Not." Here, the five actors portray five students from the same school club who met a social outcast and attempted to coax her out of her shell.

Then, 5urprise began their Kpop career with the release of the single "Hey U Come On" and numerous fan meetings to establish their names.

Kang Tae Oh and Seo Kang Joon appear in the most projects out of the five members, with Kang Tae Oh playing supporting roles in "Miss Korea," "The Tale of Nokdu," "Doom at Your Service," "Run On," and others.

Two seasons of the Vietnamese-Korean television series "Forever Young," which aired between 2014 and 2016, provided him with a rare opportunity to play a major character. However, the drama was not at all popular in Korea, resulting in Kang Tae Oh's continued anonymity.

Not until "Extraordinary Attorney Woo" did the actor's fortunes begin to improve. Kang Tae Oh explained why he decided to accept the script: "After reading the series' synopsis, I felt so at ease and enamored that I had to join the project right away".

For the actor, transforming into the caring male lead Lee Jun Ho is no easy job. “I have to show concern and be the emotional pillar for Woo Young Woo through very minute expressions, and it was quite challenging”, he said.

About acting in general, Kang Tae Oh shared: “I still have a lot to learn from people around me. No matter what kind of role I’m playing, there remains this sense of weight and responsibility. I always try to communicate with everyone on the set, and seek for solutions through conversations with directors and co-stars, making for many meaningful experiences”.

  • BLACKPINK’s Lisa Opens Up About the Toughest Part of Being a CEO and How She Handles Budget Issues

BLACKPINK’s Lisa recently revealed the challenges of being the CEO of her own company, LLoud, and shared some behind-the-scenes insights into the struggles of managing her own business.

In a February 28th video uploaded to the YouTube channel Zip Daesung, Lisa sat down as a guest and opened up about her journey as a one-person CEO.

During the shoot, as Lisa was getting her hair touched up, Daesung casually asked, "Have you been working with this crew for a long time?" to which Lisa replied, "Over a year. Ever since I started my company." She was referring to LLoud, the agency she founded just last year.

While discussing her experiences, Lisa added, "It’s fun. Of course, there are difficult parts," but quickly shifted the conversation, jokingly saying, "Aren’t you getting touched up?"

Daesung laughed and explained that his stylist wasn’t around at the moment, "The person who does that is off work. They’ll come back later after working nearby. It’s a bit more flexible." He joked further, "But we only pay for the time they’re here, and if they’re not here, we don’t pay for that time."

Lisa responded humorously, "I don’t think that’s bad. It’s good. Then, please step out for a moment. I don’t need any touch-ups." Her playful remark lightened the mood.

The conversation turned more serious when Daesung asked, "Do you ever feel like a CEO? Do you realize how much money goes out in unexpected places? Do you think, 'Oh, the company paid for this'?"

Lisa responded honestly, saying, "The music video costs are insane. It’s no joke." She went on to explain that managing the costs for music videos can be overwhelming, especially when you’re running a business alone.

Daesung agreed, commenting, "Yeah, both for us and for BLACKPINK, there’s a certain scale we’re used to from YG. The music itself is that kind of style, right?" He then asked, "When making a music video, do you just say, 'Can you please lower the cost?'"

Lisa didn’t hesitate to answer, saying, "Yes, I always ask them to reduce it." She elaborated, "I talk about the budget and ask for help. But it always ends up exceeding the budget. We just want to do our best. We want to meet the expectations."

It’s clear that Lisa’s commitment to her work goes beyond the financials, always striving to meet high expectations despite the challenges that come with running a company.
