BTS topped the 'Billboard 200' with their new album 'Proof'.
On June19th (local time), US Billboard announced that BTS' 'Proof' topped the main album chart 'Billboard 200'.
'Proof' recorded the album sales of 314,000 copies in the first week of its release.
Billboard calculates the album consumption ranking by adding up the sales volume of traditional albums such as physical albums, the number of streaming to album sales (SEA), and the number of digital music downloads converted to album sales (TEA).
Billboard explained, "'Proof' set the highest sales record for both total and physical album sales among group albums released this year."
With this, BTS has released a total of 'LOVE YOURSELF 轉 'Tear'' in 2018, including 'LOVE YOURSELF 結 'Answer'', 'MAP OF THE SOUL : PERSONA', 'MAP OF THE SOUL : 7', and 'BE'. They set a record for having six albums to top the 'Billboard 200'.
The Billboard single chart 'Hot 100' performance of the title song 'Yet To Come' of 'Proof' is also expected, and this will be announced on June 20th (local time).
Meanwhile, 'Proof' is an anthology album that tells the story of BTS 9 years after their debut.
The title song 'Yet To Come' swept the music charts immediately after its release, receiving a lot of love from fans.
After their comeback, BTS will be on MBC M's 'Show! Champion', Mnet's 'M Countdown', KBS2's 'Music Bank', and SBS 'Inkigayo' also won four music shows.
