• Actress Lee Yeon Hee Opened Up About How Her Love For Acting Stopped Her From Making Her Debut With Girls' Generation

On May 20, actress Lee Yeon Hee went on a gourmet journey to Jeongseon, Gangwon-do, in the 153rd episode of TV Chosun's "Watch Gourmet Mukbang Trip".

"My first agency, I believe, was SM Entertainment, and I spent my time as a trainee with Girls' Generation friends, as you probably already know", Lee Yeon Hee said when Heo Young Man asked about Lee Yeon Hee's first appearance as a girl group member on that day.

"Isn't Girls' Generation a strong group?" Heo Young Man said, "Was it better to join Girls' Generation or become an actor like you are now?".

"I'm not sure why, but I wanted to be an actress when I was a trainee", she responded.

"I auditioned a lot and was rejected a lot", she recalled, "despite the fact that I was tall (172 cm) at the time, there were numerous circumstances where it was impossible due to my height. My height prevents me from being an actor".

"People who dropped it at that time would have regretted it much later", Heo Young Man said. "It's nice to think that way," he added.
