Soyeon, a member of the girl group (G)I-DLE, expressed her thoughts about making and listening to "TOMBOY."
Recently aired MBC's "Radio Star" featured Psy, Sung Si Kyung, Soyeon, and Lee Seung Yoon as guests.
On this day, (G)I-DLE's song "TOMBOY," which is causing a hot response at home and abroad, was mentioned.
When MC Ahn Young Mi asked, "Did you expect this song to go well?" Soyeon began to tell related anecdotes.
Soyeon said, "I played it to Psy once the moment that it's still a draft".
But Psy said, "Oh, that's nice. I think this is going to work."
With Psy's words, Soyeon completed "TOMBOY" and took it to work.
After listening to "TOMBOY," the company told Soyeon, "Soyeon, I don't think you have to listen to other songs. I'll take it up to here," she said with satisfaction.
"TOMBOY", written, composed, and arranged by Soyeon, became the title song of the album "INNEVER DIE".
Soyeon said in a cool way, "If I wasn't confident in myself, I wouldn't have let Psy listen to it," adding, "I wrote the chorus of 'TOMBOY' and thought, 'Am I a genius?'"
Meanwhile, "TOMBOY" has topped many music shows and has also entered the Billboard Global Chart.
