• “My Liberation Notes” Earns Praise And Enjoys Immense Popularity In Social Media Despite Low Ratings

This underappreciated drama with low ratings is really worth watching.

Among the numerous anticipated K-dramas now airing, "My Liberation Notes" made a low-key debut with low ratings.

The drama, which was produced on a small budget and shown on the cable network JTBC, only had about 2-3% audience, with the most recent episode garnering the lowest numbers so far.

Despite the sad numbers and lack of conversation, "My Liberation Notes" is an incredible play with a fantastic cast.

There isn't a bad performance in the bunch, and it's possible that viewers are turned off by the show's dismal atmosphere and plodding pace.

"My Liberation Notes" is about a group of young adults who are unhappy with their lives. They have difficulty opening up, don't know how to say no, like to ignore reality, and have average visuals.

The scenarios presented in the sitcom are also extremely ordinary, which allows viewers to readily relate to the characters.

The series' most outstanding feature, though, are the cleverly written monologues that etch themselves in the minds of viewers and force them to ponder.

Overall, "My Liberation Notes" is a piece that should be pondered and sat on rather than just entertained. Its heaviness makes it unsuitable for everyone, resulting in poor viewing.

However, the topics regarding "My Liberation Notes" are all loaded with compliments, with its audiences believing the drama deserves more attention.

    Some netizens' thoughts:

    • The dialogues in the series truly hit home with me.
    • It is more than a drama; it is a reflection of reality. We all have weaknesses, just like the characters. Some of us are introverted, while others are impoverished and from the countryside. Many people are being pressured to settle down, and many people are struggling to discover their life's purpose. The scriptwriter and cast do an excellent job at depicting reality.
    • Despite the fact that this is marketed as a series for introverts, I believe that anyone can find themselves here. The stark reality there ripped my heart out.
    • This drama leaves you feeling dissatisfied and dejected. Kim Ji Won's eye acting is out of this world.

"My Liberation Notes" airs on JTBC on Saturdays and Sundays.

  • BTS' Jin visits Andong to help wildfire victims, serves meals at Baek Jong Won’s relief center

BTS member Jin has touched hearts once again with his kind gesture to support those affected by wildfires.

On April 3, Jin visited Gilan Middle School in Gilan-myeon, Andong, to serve meals to disaster victims and firefighters. His actions brought much-needed comfort to the people in the area.

Gilan Middle School is where celebrity chef Baek Jong Won, a close friend of Jin, has been running a free meal service through his company, The Born Korea.

Since March 28, The Born Korea has been providing meals for the wildfire victims, preparing 300 to 700 servings each time to ensure that the affected people and firefighters receive warm food.

Jin quietly made his way to Andong, a region that suffered extensive damage from the wildfire, to lend a helping hand.

Big Hit Music, Jin’s agency, shared, “Jin wanted to provide even a small amount of help to those affected by the wildfires, which is why he decided to participate in this volunteer activity.”

This heartwarming gesture follows BTS's large donations for wildfire recovery efforts. Jungkook donated a whopping 1 billion KRW, while V gave 200 million KRW, and RM, J-Hope, and Suga each contributed 100 million KRW to aid in the recovery.
