The production team of Mnet’s “Queendom 2” shared their thoughts on the evil editing controversy that erupted following the pre-released video.
On March 30, an online production presentation of Mnet’s “Queendom 2” was held to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
Taeyeon, Lee Yong Jin, Brave Girls Minyoung, VIVIZ Umji, WJSN Exy, LOONA Eve, Kep1er Eugene, Hyorin, and Park Chan Wook CP, and PD Lee Yeon Kyu attended the scene to talk about various things.
“Queendom 2″ is a survival program in which the six best K-pop idol teams release singles at the same time and enter a comeback competition.
In the previously pre-released video, the cast members who exude a cold atmosphere as if they were fighting. Regarding this, some responded that Mnet might have done the evil’s editing.
“Rather than a evil’s editing”, said PD Lee Yeon Kyu, “the level of people viewing Mnet has increased these days, therefore I think our purpose is to display it without hiding it.”
“Everyone is sweating, training, and working hard to exhibit the four-minute performance,” she continued, adding, “I’m trying to deal with that in a more honest and epic way, and I’ll do my best to show the six people’s performed flawlessly.”
Mnet’s “Queendom 2” is a survival program in which Brave Girls, VIVIZ, WJSN, LOONA, Kepler, and Hyolyn compete.
Taeyeon of Girls’ Generation will be the grandmaster, and comedian Lee Yong Jin will be the queen manager. It will premiere at 9:20 p.m. on March 31.
