Squid Game‘ won the Critics’ Choice Trophy.

At the American Critics’ Choice Awards held in Los Angeles on March 13, the Netflix series ‘Squid Game‘ won the Foreign Language Series Award in the TV category.

After competing with Apple TV ‘Acapulco’, Netflix ‘Lupin’, ‘Money Heist’, ‘Narcos: Mexico’, and ‘Surviving Death as a Celebrity Manager’, ‘Squid Game’ won the trophy.

This is an expected result because ‘Squid Game’ broke new Netflix box office records worldwide and recorded an overwhelming syndrome.

In addition to the foreign language series, ‘Squid Game’ was nominated for three categories at Critics’ Choice: Best Drama Series, and Best Actor by Lee Jung Jae.

Squid Game’, which was released in September last year, is a story of 456 participants wagering a prize of KRW 45.6 billion and risking their lives for the game they enjoyed as a child.
