YouTuber Free Zia (real name Song Jia) participated in a fundraiser for residents affected by forest fires in Gangwon-do and Gyeongbuk. After the "fake controversy", attention is focused on the current situation.
On March 8th, the Korean Red Cross (Chairman Shin Hee Young) announced the donation of 20 million won for Free Zia.
On March 7th, Free Zia donated money to support emergency relief in the areas affected by wildfires in Gyeongbuk, Gangwon-do. She said, "I am sorry to hear the news of the victims of the wildfire, and I decided to donate to help those who have suffered difficulties, even a little".
The money donated by Song Jia will be used for emergency relief activities for victims through the Red Cross branch in areas affected by forest fires such as Gangwon and Gyeongbuk.
Free Zia was on the cutting board last January due to the so-called "fake controversy". Controversy continued as not only wearing fake luxury goods, but also rumors about personal life related to family members.
In the end, Free Zia posted an apology video through her personal YouTube channel. She bowed her head, saying, "I acknowledge the use of counterfeit products, which has been controversial recently, and I admit that everything is my fault".
She also announced that she would make all personal channels such as YouTube private and take responsibility for her mistakes until the end.
