• Red Velvet Drops A New Teaser Photo For 'The ReVe Festival 2022'

    Red Velvet is returning with the concept of becoming a ballerina in a fairy tale.

    On March 8, on Red Velvet's official SNS, a teaser photo was posted along with the sentence "Red Velvet 'The ReVe Festival 2022 - Feel My Rhythm' 2022.3.21".

    In the published photo, Red Velvet members wearing ballet suits are each standing on a low podium and posing.

    The members wearing white skirts and ballet suits with pink accents made it feel as if they were in a fairy tale.

    Earlier, Red Velvet announced their comeback on March 21, announcing the schedule to open various content related to the album, such as schedule posters. 

    This album's 'The ReVe Festival 2022' is Red Velvet's own music festival, named after 'ReVe', which is an abbreviation for Red Velvet and means 'dream' or 'fantasy' in French.

    Red Velvet, which has been recognized as a representative summer runner by hitting several 'summer songs' such as 'Red Flavor', 'Umpah Umpah', and 'Power Up', is exciting fans by releasing new songs aimed at the warming spring. With this, Red Velvet is making a comeback after about 8 months following the album 'Queendom' released on August 20 last year.

    A representative from the agency also said, "Please look forward to what Red Velvet will show through this album, which has proven a wide range of music spectrum and concept digest through group as well as solo and unit activities."

    Meanwhile, before their comeback, Red Velvet will hold a special live performance '2022 The ReVe Festival: Prologue' at the SK Handball Stadium in Seoul Olympic Park, Songpa-gu, Seoul on March 19-20 of this month and meet with fans.

The "ddongcha" theory has been a subject of online debate for years, with many viewers critiquing Hyun Jin-heon’s character as overly arrogant and entitled.

    Hyun Bin, who first rose to fame in My Name is Kim Sam-soon, took the time to reflect on the character that made him a household name. He shared, “I was just following the script; there were no personal opinions added to the character of Hyun Jin-heon. At that time, I knew Hyun Jin-heon was portrayed as a ‘bad boy,’ and the way it was expressed was different from today’s standards.”

    With My Name is Kim Sam-soon now being re-released as part of Wavve's "New Classic" project, fans are revisiting the 2005 drama, and the character of Hyun Jin-heon is under fresh scrutiny. Director Kim Yun-cheol even admitted that the "prince on a white horse" and "bad boy" tropes that once worked in 2005 don’t quite match today's sensibilities, leading to edits in the 2024 version.

    Hyun Bin humbly acknowledged his gratitude for his successful career and hit works, saying, "It’s wonderful and I am grateful to have so many hit works. I’ve been fortunate to work with amazing writers, directors, and actors. Thanks to them, I’ve received a lot of attention and love." He also shared a sense of humility, noting, “But I never know when that luck will come again."

    Despite the dramatic shift in perspective on his character, Hyun Bin’s charm and dedication remain strong. Fans are eager to see him in his upcoming film Harbin (directed by Woo Min-ho), set to be released on the 24th.
