• Han So Hwee Says She Has No Plans To Take Responsibility For Her Mother's Related Debts

Actress Han So Hee made a statement on her mother's fraud charges.

On March 7th, Han So Hee's agency, 9 Ato Entertainment, made an official statement regarding Han So Hee's mother's fraud charges, saying, "Han So Hee has no plans to take responsibility for the related debts".

The agency explained, "In the process of borrowing money from her mother Shin, she used a bank account in Han So Hee's name. Shin arbitrarily opened a bank account when Han So Hee was a minor and used the account to borrow money (without Han So Hee's knowing)"

Then, they added, "There have been several more similar cases, and there have even been cases of forgery of private documents. A civil trial proceeded with these series of cases, and the court clearly drew a line that it was conducted independently of Han So Hee".

The agency apologized and apologized for causing concern with a personal issue rather than a work. She continued, "I am giving an additional explanation in the hope that another victim will not occur in the future. It is true that we cannot break the relationship of being a mother and a daughter. I am sorry to those who have been harmed unintentionally". She stressed that she had no plans to take responsibility.

It was explained that this was to block the series of acts of trying to get money by abusing her daughter as a famous celebrity.

Previously, Lee Jin Ho,a youtuber, claimed that Han So Hee's mother was being sued for fraudulent charges of tens of thousands of won.

Mrs. Shin is accused of not repaying after borrowing 85 million won from B from February 2018 to September 2019, saying she would pay a large amount of interest. B claimed that Mrs. Shin lent the money by saying that she would give her 2 million won a month in the form of interest, but she did not receive both the principal and interest.

Meanwhile, Han So Hee's mother's "debt fight" came out in 2020 as well.

At that time, Han So Hee's side issued an apology, saying, "I paid off my mother's debt as far as I could, but the amount was too large to handle".

The following is the full text of Han So Hee's official statement.

We explain the news about actress Han So Hee's mother as follows.

Shin, Han So Hee's mother, used a bank account under Han So Hee's name while borrowing money. Shin arbitrarily opened a bank account when Han So Hee was a minor and used it to borrow money (without Han So Hee's knowledge).

There have been several more similar incidents. There have even been cases of forgery of private documents. A civil trial proceeded with this series of cases, and the court clearly drew a line that it was conducted independently of Han So Hee.

“I borrowed money using Han So Hee’s account, but it is insufficient to admit that (Han So Hee) is jointly responsible for the debt, and there is no evidence to admit this” (Ulsan District Court decision on April 8, 2021)

We apologize for causing concern with my personal work and not my work. However, We are giving an additional explanation once again in the hope that another victim will not occur in the future.

In addition, Han So Hee adds that she has no plans to take responsibility for the related debts. This is to block a series of actions that use her daughter's name to borrow her money and try to get her money by abusing her that she is a celebrity.

It's true that we can't break the bond of being a mother and a daughter. We are sorry to those who have been harmed unintentionally. Nevertheless, we hope that this kind of thing will not be repeated any more by taking strong measures. Please understand.
