Former IZ*ONE Member Sakura Was Criticized By Korean Netizens

Miyawaki Sakura, who was active in the group ‘IZ*ONE‘, is being criticized by Korean netizens for her birthday advertisements from Chinese fans.

On February 28, Sakura’s Chinese fans installed Sakura’s birthday billboard at Samsung Station.

This ad will run for one month until March 31st.

The problem is that the design reminiscent of the rising sun flag is included in the scene of Sakura’s birthday billboard.

Domestic netizens who saw the design of the billboard said, “I didn’t expect Chinese to advertise Japanese singers in Korea on March 1, did you have to do the diary?” “Are you feeding them on purpose?” “Can’t you protest that?”

Miyawaki Sakura debuted in Japan in November 2011 as a member of the girl group HKT48.

After she started working with the girl group IZ*ONE‘ in 2018, she gained recognition in Korea.

After the disbandment of ‘IZ*ONE”, Sakura returned to Japan but returned to Korea in August of last year. At that time, there was speculation that they would sign a contract with Source Music, a label affiliated with HYBE, and prepare for the debut of a new girl group, but HYBE said that it was ‘unconfirmed’.
