The top idol group BIGBANG composed of members, G-Dragon, Taeyang, TOP, Daesung wakes up from a long hibernation and finally returns.

YG Entertainment, the agency of BIGBANG, said in February 7, "Big Bang is planning to release a new song this spring."

This is Big Bang's first new song in about 4 years since the single 'Flower Road' was released in March 2018. At the time, BIGBANG sang on 'Flower Road', 'This isn't the last time we'll meet again when the flowers bloom'. As in this song, BIGBANG is really meeting the fans again in the spring when flowers are blooming.

Debuting in 2006 and celebrating their 17th year this year, BIGBANG has released countless hit songs such as 'Lie', 'Last Farewell', 'Haru Haru', 'FANTASTIC BABY', and 'BANG BANG BANG'.

BIGBANG is regarded as a true artist group in which most of the members participated in writing and composing the lyrics. Not only in music, but also in fashion and choreography, they exert a great influence on popular culture and is considered a leader in K-pop.

Starting with T.O.P in 2017, BIGBANG members went through a long hiatus of four years as G-Dragon, Taeyang, and Daesung enlisted in the military in turn. It is expected that the response of many global fans will be explosive.

At the same time, with the BIGBANG comeback, T.O.P will end his contract with YG and start a personal project, taking on various challenges as an artist and entrepreneur.

YG said, "We respect T.O.P's opinion that he wants to expand his personal activities as well as BIGBANG, and we have discussed it well with the members."

The movie Bogota is facing a tough time at the box office, leaving its star, Song Joong Ki, in tears during a special event.

On January 12th, a guest viewing (GV) event for Bogota took place at Megabox Seongsu in Seoul. Song Joong Ki attended alongside co-star Lee Hee Jun and special guest Lee Sung Min. Despite their efforts to promote the film, it hasn’t been a hit with audiences.

Lee Sung Min, addressing the challenging state of Korean cinema, said, "When I see empty parking lots at theaters, it really hurts. These days, it feels like no one is going to the movies. It’s heartbreaking for us actors, especially when your movie comes out during such a difficult time. It makes you feel so helpless."

He urged fans to support Bogota, saying, "We actors have to keep pushing forward no matter what. Please cheer for the movie and help us end on a good note."

Lee Hee Jun also shared his gratitude with the audience, adding, "Even though the results aren’t what we hoped, I deeply thank every single person here today."

When it was his turn to speak, Song Joong Ki couldn’t hide his emotions. "The Korean film industry is going through such a hard time," he admitted.

"Honestly, just being able to see a movie in theaters right now feels like a blessing. That’s why I put extra effort into promoting Bogota. I wanted to show everyone the best of what we worked on."

As he spoke about the struggles, Song Joong Ki became visibly emotional, pausing to wipe his tears. "Talking about this keeps making me tear up," he confessed. "But I’m still so thankful for everyone who came to watch."

According to the Korean Film Council, Bogota has attracted 400,000 viewers as of January 15th. While the numbers are disappointing, Song Joong Ki and the team remain hopeful that fans will continue to support their work.
