• Most People Don't Know Yoo Ah In Was Supposed To Debut As An Idol, But Ended Up As An Actor

    Actor Yoo Ah In, who made his debut in 2004 with the drama "Sharp" won the Actor of the Year award at the 2021 Asian Artist Awards held last December 2nd.

    Recently, he played the role of "Jung Jin Soo", a pseudo-religious leader, in the Netflix drama "Hellbound" showing great charisma and receiving a lot of attention and love.

    In 1986, Yoo Ah In, a native of Daegu, is known to have been cast on the street in front of the school while majoring in art at an art high school and came to Seoul.

    Yoo Ah In, who recklessly came to Seoul despite his parents' opposition, stayed at a Gosiwon or agency accommodation and received vocal and dance training for his solo idol debut, but quit because he seemed to have no talent and participated in the 2004 youth drama "Sharp" audition.

    Initially, Yoo Ah In played a one-time character in "Sharp" but she is more popular than expected and makes a regular appearance. However, with a break of more than a year, he go back to his hometown in Daegu and take a break before returning to the 2007 independent film "Boys of Tomorrow".

    In 2010, Yoo Ah In gained huge popularity once again through the drama "Sungkyunkwan Scandal". Since then, he have been building various filmography between highly artistic works such as "Burning" and "Voice of Silence" and popular works such as movies "Veteran" and "#Alive".

  • Yoo Jae Suk and Kim So Hyun bond over feeling uncomfortable with too much kindness

    Yoo Jae Suk recently opened up about how his manager’s excessive kindness made him feel a bit uncomfortable.

    On May 10, a new video was released on the Tteun Tteun YouTube channel, featuring Kim So Hyun, Park Bo Gum, Lee Sang Yi, and Yoo Jae Suk.

    During the video, Kim So Hyun, born in 1999, surprised everyone with her honest and straightforward answers, showing the typical openness of the MZ generation.

    Park Bo Gum described Kim So Hyun as “really honest and down-to-earth,” while Lee Sang Yi added, “She has no pretenses and is very straightforward, just like now.”

    Kim So Hyun explained, “The older brothers are very thoughtful and take good care of me. But since I’ve become more independent, I’m more of the ‘I’m fine, it's okay’ type. The brothers try to take care of me, but I just move on quickly,” highlighting the difference in personalities.

    Yoo Jae Suk, agreeing with her, shared, “I know what you mean,” as Kim So Hyun explained, “I’m the type to do things on my own, so I’m not used to being taken care of.”

    Yoo Jae Suk then shared a personal story, saying, “That's similar to me. I also feel a little uncomfortable with being taken care of. My manager, when he first came from another company, would open doors for me. It was too much, and it felt burdensome.”

    Ji Seok Jin joined the conversation, saying, “When I get out of the car, he comes to greet me and opens the door when I get in,” to which Yoo Jae Suk laughed, jokingly asking, “Was he from a big company?” Lee Sang Yi was also surprised, saying, “Isn’t that VIP treatment?”

    Yoo Jae Suk’s discomfort with his manager’s kindness left fans laughing and relating to his story of feeling a bit overwhelmed by too much attention.
