• 'Squid Game' Actress Jung Ho Yeon Appeared In An Unexpected Place Ahead Of The Presidential Election

    Actress Jung Ho Yeon launched a campaign to encourage voting ahead of the presidential election.

    Jung Ho Yeon, who played the leading role in the success of the Netflix drama 'Squid Game', recently participated in the presidential election voting promotion campaign 'Boat for Korea: Shoot well and choose well.

    This campaign was designed to encourage voters to vote ahead of the 20th presidential election to be held on March 9. It is a meaningful project in which stars from all generations donated their talents with no guarantees with the pure intention of participating in voting under the purview of exercising the right to vote, which is the right of the people.

    Participants challenged the 'voting mark drawing ' placed in the voting gift set box prepared by the organizer. Jung Ho Yeon showed embarrassment at the drawing mission in 'Squid Game' and showed her will, saying, "I failed every time I did it.

    Afterward, Jung Ho Yeon answered a question about her current situation, saying, "Thankfully, 'Squid Game' has been loved so much, and I am busy with filming and interviewing."

    Jung Ho Yeon, who was recently nominated for the Best Actress Award as well as the TV Drama Ensemble Award at the 'Actors Guild of America Award (SAG)', smiled, saying, "I expected the ensemble award nomination." When the nomination for Best Actress came to her, she said, " I was surprised and embarrassed because I wasn't expecting it."

    Regarding the reason for participating in the voting promotion campaign despite the busy schedule, Jung Ho Yeon said, "I think voting is a right that must be exercised because of the responsibility for the next generation. I hope that everyone chooses well and shoots well."

    Jung Ho Yeon also emphasized, "I believe that I am living to pass on a better life with a sense of responsibility for the next generation. Voting means taking responsibility for the next generation."

    Actress Kang Ye Won got emotional as she opened up about why she took a break from broadcasting and why she’s finally giving love a chance.

    She added, "At one point, I thought, ‘I should just quit everything and move to the countryside,’ and that idea actually gave me peace," she confessed.

    When it came to dating, Kang Ye Won shared that she had always been content watching others fall in love.

    "It never worked out for me. I wasn’t the type to ask for introductions either. I just found comfort in living as an observer. Maybe it’s my fate. I’m fearful, and I lack courage. If I feel like someone might hurt me, I block them out from the start," she admitted.

    However, the actress revealed that she ultimately joined Can I Love Now? for her father. "My dad was born in 1943. He had me late in life, and his health isn’t great."

    She added, "I realized that if I continue living alone like this, I won’t be able to give my parents any hope until the moment they pass away," she said with tears in her eyes. "My perspective on life has changed. I no longer think just about myself, but about my parents."

    Kang Ye Won’s heartfelt confession touched many viewers, leaving fans rooting for her to find happiness.
