• 4 K-Drama Pairings In 2021 With Amazing Chemistry That We Regret The Most

    These K-Drama couples deserve better.

Besides the couples with a happy ending, many couples in 2021 K-Dramas have to suffer separation, not being able to stay together until the end, even losing each other for good.

Here are 4 couples on the Korean small screen this year that cause us the most regret.

    Woong – Yumi (Yumi’s Cells)

This is a couple that surprised netizens since before that, their relationship in Yumi’s Cells was quite good.

Woong (Ahn Bo Hyun) is originally a man who shows little emotion, and Yumi (Kim Go Eun) is a girl who is not easy to open up because she has been through a lot of hurt before.

And then they came together.  The care they have for each other is undeniable.  Although there were times when they almost broke up because they were interrupted by a third person, eventually they overcame and continued to accompany each other.

But in the last episodes, the two suddenly decided to break up, leaving viewers disappointed.

Lee Hwi – Noh Ha Kyung (The King’s Affection)

In The King’s Affection, Crown Prince Lee Hwi (Park Eun Bin) disguises as a man and is forced to marry Noh Ha Kyung (Jung Chae Yeon) even though he has no feelings for her deep down. As for Noh Ha Kyung, she loves the crown prince with all her heart because without knowing his shocking secret.

When the truth comes out, they are no longer tied to each other and are able to find their own happiness. If Lee Hwi is happy with a simple marriage with Ji Woon (Rowoon), Ha Kyung is left alone. She keeps thinking about Lee Hwi whom she loves dearly.

Our hearts ache for Ha Kyung. But it is also satisfying that Lee Hwi can finally live as her true self, a free life in the end.

Hwang Hee Tae – Kim Myung Hee (Youth Of May)

The duo of Youth Of May, Hwang Hee Tae (Lee Do Hyun) – Kim Myung Hee (Go Min Si) made the viewers cry buckets of tears. After many difficulties and obstacles that they encounter, we thought they would be given a happy ending. However, they end up losing each other for good.

Kim Myung Hee is a strong and courageous nurse. During a blind date, she meets Hee Tae while pretending to be her best friend. Hee Tae falls in love with her at first sight.  Just like that, fate arranges for them to cross paths and fall madly in love with each other.

But then Myung Hee’s disappearance into the dark of the night in the deep forest causes Hee Tae to break down. He continues to live in pain and despair. It is only when he turns middle age that he is able to reunite with Myung Hee in the form of ashes.

Choi Ung – Yeon Su (Our Beloved Summer)

Another couple that makes netizens regret in the last months of the year is Choi Ung (Choi Woo Sik) and Yeon Su (Kim Da Mi) in Our Beloved Summer.  The two had a lovely, cute, sweet love story when they were in high school.

But then suddenly one day, the two broke up and hurt each other with rather harsh words.  Apparently they are still very much in love with each other.  Even when they reach adulthood, the image of the other is still clear in their minds.

The audience is intrigued by the reasons for this passionately-in-love-couple’s breakup. Fans also want to know why the two have to be so cruel with each other, despite how much they love each other. And hopefully they’ll give each other another chance to fall in love again.

The couples mentioned above make me very sad when they have to split up, despite the fact that they appeared to be so well suited before. However, fate is unpredictable, and the characters in the film are unable to avoid their fate.
