Singer IU gave a meaningful impression while holding the Bonsang in the album category.

The '36th Golden Disc Awards' is being held with great success at Gocheok Sky Dome, Guro-gu, Seoul on December 8th.

On this day, IU was called the winner of the Bonsang Award in the album category and went on stage with a happy heart.

IU, who gave points with a neat jacket and colorful earrings, showed off her walking Barbie beauty. 

IU said, "It's my first schedule for the new year, but I think I was able to start the year in a good mood because I received a meaningful award from Golden Disk."

She continued, "I've appeared on Golden Disc several times since my debut, but I've been told that this is the first time I'm receiving a Bonsang for my album."

IU mentioned her fan club 'Uena', saying, "It makes me super excited just knowing that there's still so many 'first times' left to be achieved."

She confessed, "I hope I'll achieve each of the remaining 'first times' with my UENA's too." making the fans cry.

Finally, she expressed her sincere gratitude to her agency, Edam Entertainment, and all her staffs.
