A vaccine advertisement starring actor Seo Kang Joon drew attention with its creative concept.

On December 6th, a Cervical Cancer Vaccine (HPV vaccine) advertisement featuring Seo Kang Joon became the center of attention on SNS and online communities. In the advertisement, which is produced in four versions, Seo Kang Joon acted as a “human vaccine” and skillfully digested B-class emotional lines.

In the first video, a woman said to Seo Kang Joon, “I’m 40 years old. I think we met too late,” and turned around. He then grabbed her and said, “It’s not late. I’ll protect you.” The video then continues with Seo Kang Joon’s narration, “HPV vaccine that can be vaccinated even by 45-year-old women, Gardasil 9,” delivering information that this vaccine is available for females from the age of 9 to 45.

In the second video, while saying goodbye to a woman, Seo Kang Joon said, “I have someone to protect”. Seo Kang Joon then approached the man and put his hand on that man’s shoulder and said that his target was a man, not a woman. This scene is followed by a narration that said, “HPV vaccine is needed not only for women but also for men”.

In another video, Seo Kang Joon interfered with a couple and said, “I will protect your girlfriend”, and “I will protect the love of you two”, then revealed that he was a vaccine. Netizens who saw the advertisement were startled at first but then laughed as soon as they realized Seo Kang Joon was actually a “human vaccine”. They praised this creative idea, saying, “The advertisement is so clear and easy to understand”.
