• 5 Actresses Who Are Best Choices As Female Lead For The New Season Of "Tale Of The Nine Tailed"

tvN recently confirmed that there will be new seasons of the popular K-Drama "Tale of the Nine Tailed". However, they also said that that seasons 2 and 3 would be different.

The first season casts were Lee Dong Wook, Jo Bo Ah, and Kim Bum , depicting the tale of a nine-tailed fox (gumiho) who settled down in the city and of the producer who chases after him.

The setting of the second season would be during the Japanese colonial era (1910-1945) and the third season will be set during the Joseon dynasty. The second season's director confirmed that Kang Shin Hyo will be doing 16 episodes. Meanwhile, details about the cast and lineup is still not confirmed.

Another interesting change in the succeeding seasons of "Tale Of The Nine Tailed" is that there will be a search for the new female lead which leaves the audiences the question, "Who will play the new female lead in this fantasy-action romance?"

Here are some actresses (in no particular order) who we think would make the perfect female lead for the upcoming seasons of "Tale of The Nine Tailed".

    Park Shin Hye

Park Shin Hye shown her duality over multiple roles and showcase her incredible acting skills, including her recent two K-Dramas "Memories of the Alhambra" and "Sisyphus: The Myth".

Both dramas play very different vibes on two separate ends of the genre spectrum. "Tale of the Nine Tailed" would be an interesting middle ground and could reveal the new side of Park Shin Hye .

Park Shin Hye and Lee Dong Wook are also a duo that we're sure many K-Drama fans have been excited to see on screen together.

    IU

IU already proven herself as an actress throughout her various K-Drama roles.

We can see how well she acted the character she portrayed in the drama "Hotel Del Luna" which makes us curious about how she would portray a role in this type of fantasy-action drama.

It would also be an added bonus if she will be given an opportunity to record a song for the drama's OST.

    Lee Sung Kyung

Lee Sung Kyung is known for taking on refreshing characters that make us fall into their very unique persona.

She has played on many genres and it would be interesting to see her in a fantasy-action drama.

She is drop-dead gorgeous and her visuals alongside Lee Dong Wook would be a sight to see.

    Kwon Nara

Kwon Nara is also a stunning actress suited for the new female lead.

Her visuals would be perfect to this type of drama and she has also been trying out various roles and several K-Drama genres recently.

It would be interesting to see her in a fantasy role.

    Shin Hye Sun

Shin Hye Sun carries an aura that would be suitable for this drama.

She can make you fall into her performance with her convincing acting and emotive expressions.

We think she could easily nail off the female lead of "Tale of the Nine Tailed".
