    MBC's Friday-Saturday drama 'The Red Sleeve', which has recently been very popular among viewers, is coming to an end.

    On December 21st, OSEN reported that “The Red Sleeve” will start filming its last shoot on the same day. According to the report, the drama will begin shooting its last scene from the afternoon of December 21st. As such, the filming is going to complete its seven-month journey.

    As it is the last filming, it is known that both Lee Jun Ho and Lee Se Young, who took the lead roles, will participate. The novel of the same name has a sad ending, but people are wondering how the drama’s ending will be as “The Red Sleeve” has been receiving a lot of love lately. “The Red Sleeve” tells the record of a royal court romance between the King of Joseon who believes his duty is to his country first above love, and a court lady who wants to protect the life she has chosen.

    Meanwhile, the drama first aired on November 12th with a viewership rating of 5.7% (based on Nielsen Korea’s national standard) and recorded 13.3% in episode 12.

    Now that her daughters are older, Shoo finally fulfilled that dream. “We laughed so much while shopping. We bought hairpins, socks, and clothes together,” she said. “They’ve grown so much—they can even wear the same things as me.”

    Reflecting on the experience, she added, “Memories of my past flashed before my eyes. I told them how I used to work late at night, carrying heavy bags and walking around for 10 hours straight.”

    Shoo emotionally concluded, “I was so happy to show my kids the nighttime world I once worked in.”
