Let’s take a look at 4 reasons why you should make sure to give Snowdrop a watch!

    • Jung Hae In and Jisoo’s romantic tension

In Snowdrop, Jung Hae In plays Im Su Ho – a student of a prestigious university who suddenly rushes into the dorm of a women’s university with his body covered in blood. Jisoo plays Young Ro – the girl who hides Su Ho and takes care of his injury even when facing danger under close surveillance.

Every time JTBC releases new still cuts and teasers, our hearts flutter because of the loving gazes Su Ho (Jung Hae In) and Young Ro (Jisoo) give one another. In most teasers, the two look like an innocent, refreshing couple of university students, but there is a scene where Young Ro is held at gunpoint by Su Ho, signaling a suspenseful storyline.

    • Snowdrop is written and directed by the duo behind SKY Castle

Snowdrop, directed by Jo Hyun Tak of the hit SKY Castle, is set in 1987 during the Korean democracy movement. In a recent interview with Harper’s Bazaar, Jung Hae In shared that he decided to participate in Snowdrop because he fully believes in director Jo Hyun Tak and writer Yoo Hyun Mi.

“Snowdrop is the project that I find myself encountering the most difficulties in terms of acting. Therefore, I have even more faith in not only the director and Jisoo but also every member of the production crew. I’m excited but also nervous for the first episode”
