    Stars who left our side for a while after being called by military service are returning soon.

    Recently, a lot of celebrities, including BTOB's Yook Sungjae, Lim Hyunsik, actor Yang Sejong, and Block B's Ukwon, have been released from military service in a dignified manner.

    Several actors and singers who will energize the small screen and stage will finally return to the industry next year.

    Here are the 5 celebrities with less than 100 days left until discharge.

    • Roy Kim - December 14, 2021

    Singer Roy Kim was enlisted in the Marine Corps training group located in Pohang, Gyeongsangbuk-do on June 15 last year. At the training group graduation ceremony, he trained hard enough to receive the 'Loyalty Award', an award given to outstanding marines who practiced the spirit of the Marine Corps.

    Since then, Roy Kim has been assigned to his own squadron and has continued his military life as a Marine Corps soldier.

    Roy Kim's scheduled discharge date is December 14th.

    • Sik K - December 28, 2021 

    Rapper Sik K enlisted in the 1st Division Recruit Training Battalion located in Paju, Gyeonggi Province on June 29 last year. At his enlistment site, rappers Jay Park, pH-1, and Kim Ha On, along with the Hier Music Records family, attended and supported him.

    Sik K said, "I will return in good health. I will wait for the fans to meet again in a happy and healthy state until next year's discharge."

    Sik K, who has received basic military training for five weeks and is working as a full-time reserve, will return to the fans' side on December 28th.

    • Woo Do Hwan - January 5, 2022

    Actor Woo Do Hwan started his military service on July 6, last year, when he enlisted in the 15th Division Recruit Training Battalion located in Hwacheon, Gangwon-do.

    Before his enlistment, he messaged the fans by saying, "I hope you are healthy and happy during these difficult times. I will return in good health and greet you with a good image. I love and thank you so much that I cannot express it in any words."

    After completing basic military training, Woo Do Hwan served as an active-duty soldier and recently took his last vacation.

    Woo Do Hwan is scheduled to be released from the military on January 5, 2022 in accordance with the Ministry of National Defense guidelines to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

    • VIXX Ken - January 5, 2022

    VIXX member Ken enlisted in the military band on July 6 last year. Ken said, "I am excited and scared because I think I will be able to experience many new things, but I will come back as a more mature and healthy Jaehwan."

    He also shared his recent military service by posting his perfect short hairstyle through his Instagram.

    Ken will be released on January 5, 2022, the same day as Woo Do Hwan.

    • EXO Suho - February 13, 2022

    EXO member Suho enlisted in the army training center on May 14, last year.

    Prior to enlistment, Suho said through the fan club community listening, "I will be performing my military service from the 14th. During that time, I will really miss our EXO-Ls (EXO fan club). EXO-Ls who think about me and love me every day. I hope you are always healthy. I sincerely thank you and I love you."

    Suho, who received basic military training for four weeks, is fulfilling his military duty as a social service worker. He will be released on February 13, 2022, after completing one year and nine months of military service.

    BTS member Jimin made history at the 2024 MAMA AWARDS, becoming the first solo artist ever to win the prestigious Visa Fan’s Choice of the Year award.

    On November 22, Jimin was honored with the Fan’s Choice of the Year award at the 2024 MAMA AWARDS JAPAN, held at the Kyocera Dome in Osaka, Japan. This marks a huge milestone in his career, especially considering his ongoing military service.

    Jimin made history as the first solo artist to win the Fan’s Choice of the Year award, a category that BTS had dominated for six years since its debut in 2018.

    In addition to this achievement, Jimin also took home the Fan’s Choice Grand Prize, making him a two-time winner at this year’s awards.

    Although Jimin couldn't attend the ceremony due to his military service, his name was met with loud cheers from fans when announced.

    His incredible win continues to prove his global influence as a solo artist. Jimin had also won Best Male Artist at the 2023 MAMA AWARDS, marking back-to-back wins at the event.
