‘The Red Sleeve‘ decided to extend one more episode.
On December 9th, an official from the MBC Friday-Saturday drama ‘The Red Sleeve‘ told Maeil Business Star Today, “We have decided to extend the episode one more.”
They continued, “In addition to the full-fledged romance of the male and female protagonists, various stories are prepared in the second half. We have decided to extend the first episode in order to repay viewers for their support with a stronger story and ending and to achieve the beauty of the species. We will do our best until the very end so that we can live up to the expectations of our viewers.”
‘The Red Sleeve‘ is a record of a mournful court romance between a court lady who wanted to protect the life she had chosen and a king who put the country ahead of love. It is based on the novel of the same name by Kang Mi-gang, serialized on Kakao Page.
On December 3rd, it surpassed 10.7% in viewer ratings (Nielsen Korea, nationwide) and became a relief pitcher for MBC’s ‘Drama Kingdom’, which has been struggling recently.
