    The two met on a college campus. The two developed a relationship from friends to lovers after building a relationship as seniors and juniors in the Department of Theater and Film at Chung-Ang University. Afterwards, he made a special appearance in 'The King of Dramas' in 2012.
    They admitted that they were officially dating in 2018, and they were caught enjoying a date at a restaurant run by Park Shin Hye's parents.

    Another thing they have in common is that they are pet owners and passionate soccer fans. Religion was also Christian.

    Their opinion of marriage was similar, too. Park Shin Hye said, "I have always dreamed of getting married. I wanted to have a beautiful family while watching my parents. I thought I would get married when I was 23." Choi Tae Joon also dreamed of getting married early, saying, "I thought a lot about wanting to get married soon."

    Meanwhile, on November 23rd, the two announced that they were ready to get married in January of next year and shared the news of their pregnancy.
