Actor Kwak Dong-yeon will be the main character of the drama 'Gauss Electronics'.

According to the news on November 15th, Kwak Dong-yeon recently decided to appear in 'Gauss Electronics', which is preparing to air next year. It is known that details such as schedule are being coordinated.

'Gauss Electronics' is based on the original webtoon of the same name by writer Kwak Baek-soo, which has been serialized for 4 seasons for 8 years since June 2011. The webtoon was popular with the multinational company Gauss Electronics as the background, depicting the sorrows of office workers.

In the play, Kwak Dong-yeon plays Lee Sang-sik, an employee at the marketing division of Gauss Electronics, a multinational corporation. He is simple and sincere, but he is a novice office worker who lacks insight.

He is so idealistic that he unwittingly becomes a troublemaker for the department. He is expected to show off his comical charm as he plays an active role as the central axis of the drama depicting the daily life of the marketing headquarters.

PD Junsu Park of Mnet's 'God of Music 2' is in charge of directing, and it will be produced by Fan Entertainment, which produced SBS 'Racket Boys' and KBS 2TV's 'When the Camellia Blooms'.

He is currently working on casting for the main and supporting roles, and has recently been aired on MBC.

As a result, Dong-Yeon Kwak will continue to present his works next year without a break. TVing's original series 'Ghost' and tvN's 'Big Mouse', which are currently being filmed, are also scheduled to be released next year.

He made his debut in the KBS 2TV weekend drama ‘My Husband Got a Family’ in 2012, and has shown various characters from villains to comics through more than 20 dramas. In May of this year, he showed off his presence with tvN's 'Vincenzo'.
