Actor Ahn Bo Hyun Has Been Appointed As An Honorary Maritime Police Officer

The Namhae Regional Maritime Police Agency (Chairman Seo Seung-jin) announced that it had appointed Ahn Bo-hyeon (Honorary Inspector) as honorary marine police officers at an appointment ceremony held on the 5th floor of the Namhae Regional Maritime Police Agency in Dong-gu, Busan last November 12th.

For the next two years, as honorary marine police officers, he will engage in public relations activities for the marine police and public interest activities for maritime safety.

Ahn Bo-hyun graduated from Busan Physical Education High School, majored in modeling at university, and debuted as an official model in 2007. Since then, he has turned into an actor and has been active in various works such as JTBC’s ‘Itaewon Class’, MBC’s ‘Kairos’, and tvN’s ‘Yumi’s Cells’.

In particular, in the Netflix original drama ‘My Name‘, which was released on October 15th of last month, he played the role of a detective in the drug investigation team and received a lot of attention at home and abroad.

Namhae Coast Guard Commissioner Seo Seung-jin said, “It is reassuring to have appointed announcer Hwang Beom and actor Ahn Ahn Bo-hyun as Honorary Inspector and Honorary Inspector of the Namhae Coast Guard.”
