IU Postpones Her Schedules + To Undergo COVID-19 Testing After Singer Lim Chang Jung Tests Positive

Singer IU will be tested for COVID-19 on November 10th.

IU decided to take a preemptive test after singer Lim Chang-jung, who sang a congratulatory song at the wedding of Lee Ji-hoon and Ayane, was diagnosed with the virus the day before.

On the 10th, E-Daily , borrowing the words of an official from EDAM Entertainment, IU’s agency, said, “On the day of the wedding, IU was the first to sing a congratulatory song while wearing a mask. We plan to inform you when the results of the tests are available at a later date.”

Earlier, singer-actor Lee Ji-hoon’s wedding was attended by IU, Im Chang-jung, musical actors Kai, and Son Jun-ho. Stars such as Bada, Hong Seok-cheon, Shim Jin-hwa, Jung Tae-woo, Kim Woo-ri, Kim So-hyun, and Kang Ye-bin attended as guests. Among them, the news of Im Chang-jung’s confirmed case continued to raise concerns among fans.

Lim Chang-jung sang while wearing a mask, but due to the nature of the enclosed space, it seems that those attending the wedding will also need to be tested for COVID-19.

It is known that the manager and staff, who were on the same track as Im Chang-jung, tested negative for COVID-19.
