Kim Seon Ho’s Ex-Girlfriend Says That She Has Received An Apology From Him And There Were “Misunderstandings” Between Them

After Actor Kim Seon Ho apologized for the controversy over his private life, his ex-girlfriend posted a new statement.

On October 20, Kim Seon Ho’s ex-girlfriend posted an additional post on an online community site, saying, “I’m sorry that my writing seems to have unintentionally caused damage to many people.”

She said, “There was a time where [Kim Seon Ho] and I truly loved each other. I don’t feel good watching him collapse in the moment due to some of my extreme posts.”

She added, “I received an apology from him, and it seems like there were some misunderstandings between us. I hope that no more false content will be released and no more details about his and my relationship will be reproduced and spread.”

She added, “There is a weight on my mind because this incident seems to have caused a lot of damage to many people.”

Meanwhile, Kim Seon Ho’s ex-girlfriend allegedly got pregnant while dating Kim Seon Ho early last year, but claimed that Kim Seon Ho encouraged her to have an abortion. Not only that, she added that Kim Seon Ho unilaterally informed him of the breakup, sparking a controversy over his privacy. In response, Kim Seon Ho personally acknowledged this and apologized today (October 20).

  1. What’s the point of posting .. after ruining everything,,,
If she is pregnant from last year …why wait till this year ??

  2. Annyeong to all #cancelculture supporters,

My name is ina and I am a huge K-drama and K-pop fan. Some people might think I would like to become Korean but I do not, I just have a huge respect for the culture and the passion. I also do enjoy the food and skincare, but this letter is not about me. It is about you, the #cancelculture supporters.

I hope you are all doing well and are all in a good place in your lives. Yes, I hope and wish you are in a good environment because I am not like you and I do not wish to be like you. I say this with sadness and disappointment. I am a huge K-drama and K-pop fan. I support every celebrity with all that I can and sometimes I wish you can do the same, but yes, I know you cannot please everyone. I am writing this letter because I am very alarmed with how Kim Seon Ho is being treated right now.

I may not know the person close enough but I am a huge fan. I have been supporting him since I watched him on Strongest Deliveryman. He is such a good versatile actor and I salute him for that. Being an actor in Korea with such high standards is very difficult. I may not see it from a Korean perspective but I see it from another human perspective who makes mistakes and learns from it. It is saddening to see how actors and actresses (i.e. Kim Seon Hoo, Ji Soo, Seo Hye Ji) suffer through this #cancelculture that is happening right now.

Yes, they may have done some things in the past but that does not mean we should cancel them. I believe that people change and they are not who they were in the past. They may have done things that you do not agree on but that does not mean we should cancel them on their jobs. If we are to cancel everyone who has done something wrong (as long as it is not illegal), then we would have ended up cancelling everyone. I believe that no one benefits from the cancel culture except the people who like to see other people suffer and lose everything they have worked on.

Yes, things are going well for them now and maybe you think they do not deserve it, but who are you to judge someone with what they do and do not deserve. Things that are done in the past are all in the past and nothing can be done but to ask and give forgiveness. Mistakes are meant to teach lessons and not to harm the doer a greater pain.

You may not see it from my point of view but if that happened outside Korea, people will still support him for his passion in acting and not in his past. I wish one day you can see it from my point of view and cancel the #cancelculture and instead ask for forgiveness. The world is already dealing with so much pain and loss to be dealing with the toxic culture you are spreading.

We will never know the two sides of the story and that is okay, because it is their personal life and story. But, we, the fans, need to know when to start giving them space for our artists’ growth. Maybe if you do end #cancelculture, many K-drama actors or actresses, or even K-pop artists will start to share more of their personal life because they will be braver with their actions. They are humans too and are prone to making mistakes. Thank you and I hope this helps you understand where I am coming from.

And to Kim Seon Ho and other victims of #cancelculture, hold on there. Someday, some way, somehow, it will get better. I hope this is the start of something better and I hope this letter can serve as a little help to all the pain you are dealing with right now. #cancelcancelculture

    Thank you,
    Ina
