• 'Gumiho's New Season Production Is Confirmed

'Gumiho' is confirmed to have a new season which is targeted to be aired in the first half of 2022.

Drama officials issued a statement on the 27th that tvN's 'Gumiho' decided to produce season 2 and season 3 side by side.

Meanwhile, 'Gumiho' is a fantasy action romance between a nine-tailed fox who has settled in the city and a producer who pursues him. The first season aired in October 2020 and ended with the highest viewership rating of 5.8%. There was talk of a season system at the time of the end, and it was finally confirmed.

However, the female protagonist changes. Jo Bo Ah, who worked as a producer for the 'Finding Urban Ghost Stories' program in the play, decided not to join the follow-up season. The production team started casting a new female lead. The subsequent season also takes you back to the past. Season 2 goes to the Japanese colonial period and season 3 goes to the Joseon Dynasty, changing the genre to a historical fantasy. Season 2 and Season 3 were planned for 16 episodes each.

Except for the female lead, Lee Dong Wook, Kim Beom, and Joo Yeon are together, and director Kang Shin Hyo takes the megaphone. The broadcast is scheduled for the first half of next year.
