• ASTRO's Cha Eun Woo Purchases a 4.9 Billion KRW ($4.15 Million) Apartment In Cash

    It is reported that group Astro member and actor Cha Eun-woo bought a penthouse worth 4.9 billion won without a loan.

    According to Biz Korea report on September 24, Cha Eun-woo bought the Bill Polaris penthouse located in Cheongdam-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul on July 7 with full cash.

    Bill Polaris is an apartment building in terms of the building law as it was built on the scale of 3 stories below the ground and 20 above. However, it is well-known as a luxury house that is made up of one household per floor and has good privacy. It is known that actress Park Min-young and Shin Hye-jin, daughter of former Kyobo Books Chairman Shinmunjae, are living in this apartment. The previous owner of the Bill Polaris penthouse sold to Cha Eun-woo was said to be Choi Chi-hoon, chairman of the Samsung C&T Board of Directors.

    According to the Real Estate Register, Chairman Choi bought it for 3.8 billion won in 2012 and sold it to Cha Eun-woo after 9 years, leaving a market profit of 1.1 billion won.

    Cha Eun-woo, who debuted as a member of ASTRO in 2016, is currently working as an actor. According to the information announced by the Korea Corporate Reputation Research Institute on the September 18, Cha Eun-woo ranked second in the 'September Boy Group Personal Brand Reputation' category.
