• [Photos] New Stills Added for the Upcoming Korean Drama "Yumi's Cells"

'Yumi's Cells' Ahn Bo-hyun transforms into an honest attractive man.

The TVing original 'Yumi's Cells' (directed by Lee Sang-yeop, creator Song Jae-jung, playwright Kim Yun-ju, Kim Kyung-ran, provided by Teabing, produced by Studio Dragon, Mary Cow, Studio N), which will be released simultaneously on TV and tvN on September 17th, will be released on August 13th. The first still cut of Ahn Bo-hyun, who perfectly possessed the soul of 'Guwoong', was released.

Ahn Bo-hyun, who has imprinted a strong presence in each work, will wear a different character this time as well as acting transformation. In the published photo, Ahn Bo-hyun has already melted into Goo-woong. In contrast to his masculine visual, his warm smile gives off a warm charm. It is also interesting to see what was captured in the game studio in the picture that followed. Goo Woong is a game developer who is always serious about his work. The traces of 'hard work' are clearly visible from the numerous monitors lit behind his back.

Ahn Bo-hyun transforms into a game developer 'Koo Woong' who moves with the 'Yes or No' algorithmic thinking circuit. An engineering student down to the bone, he is a simple yet attractive man. Although the method of expressing emotion is zero, there is a subtle subtlety. His weapon, which is natural and unadorned from his outfit to his mind, is his honesty that doesn't count. The more you know, the more attractive Goo Woong is, the 'real boyfriend' itself. After meeting Yu-mi (Kim Go-eun), Goo Woong feels an abnormal reaction to the algorithmic thinking circuit. It stimulates curiosity about what will happen to the two of them.

Ahn Bo-hyun also cited Goo Woong's charm as 'innocence' and 'sincerity'. He said, "In a way, Goo Woong is frustrated or 'Why is that?' He wants to, but he is a straight forward man who only looks at one woman and only thinks about the things he likes. He explained the charm of the character, saying, “Even if you know only one and may not know both, you do your best for that one and are sincere people.” He also said, “I wanted to express the image that comes to mind when I say ‘goo-woong’. I thought that if the characteristics of Goo Woong, such as a beard, long hair, and dark skin tone, were drawn properly, viewers would be much more immersed and enjoyed.”

'Yumi's Cells', produced as a season, is a cell-stimulating sympathetic romance depicting the story of an ordinary Yumi who eats, loves, and grows with cells. Director Lee Sang-yeop, who showed sensational directing through 'Shopping King Louie' and 'Knowing Wife', grabs a megaphone and adds to the anticipation. Here, writer Song Jae-jeong, who is trusted for his original and solid writing skills such as 'Memories of the Alhambra' and 'W', participated as a creator, and with writer Kim Yun-ju, who received great love through 'The Man's Memory' and 'Twenty', New writer Kyung-ran Kim wrote the book and is considered the most anticipated work in the second half of the year. It will be released simultaneously on TV and tvN at 10:50 pm on September 17th.
