GFRIEND Yuju is reportedly discussing an exclusive contract with Kang Daniel‘s agency.
On August 11, Konnect Entertainment told Newsen, “We are planning to expand our artist lineup, but nothing concrete has been decided. YUJU is indeed one of the artists they have met in the process.”
Earlier on this day, Celeb Media reported that Yuju, former GFRIEND member, recently held a meeting with KONNECT Entertainment regarding an exclusive contract, and the possibility of signing it was high.
Yuju, who debuted with GFRIEND in 2015, has been active with a number of hit songs such as ‘Glass Bead’, ‘Rough’, ‘Me Gustas Tu’, ‘Navillera’, and ‘Sunrise’.
GFRIEND officially disbanded in May this year without renewing contracts along with all members. Recently, GFRIEND member Sowon signed a contract with IOK and Yerin signed a contract with Sublime Artist Agency, heralding new activities.
On the other hand, KONNECT Entertainment includes Kang Daniel, CL, and Chancellor.
